New Comic Alert, This week, we’re excited to welcome a new feature, Art by Moga, to our GoComics library!
Meg Adams, a Seattle-based creator, began Art by Moga on Instagram as a creative outlet in high school.
Adams (pen name Moga) illustrates everyday life with her husband, Carson, and their spunky pups, Boedy and Luna, in the feature as it is now known. 온라인카지노
Join the Adams family as they debate Coke vs. Pepsi, revel in the small pleasures of autumn (Adams is a huge Halloween fan), and navigate work-at-home life.
We caught up with Adams—read on to learn more about her!
Please tell us a little bit about yourself! When did you realize you had a talent for drawing and cartooning?
Hello! My name is Meg Adams, and I’m the creator of Artbymoga! My husband, Carson, and our two pups
Boedy and Luna, live in beautiful Bend, Oregon. My comics frequently include snippets of our daily antics.
I’ve been drawing since I could hold a crayon, but my passion was sparked in first grade when my art submission won a blue ribbon at the County Fair!
I’ve been doing art almost every day since then.
In my spare time, I enjoy long walks with the dogs, yoga, meditation, bubble baths, cooking, video games, movies, and creating more art!
When did you first begin drawing and writing Art by Moga, and why did you decide to share it with the rest of the world on Instagram?
In early high school, I began writing and posting comics on Instagram as Moga. It began with silly doodles for friends and family
But after a few of my comics went “viral,” I quickly found myself with a small audience. In 2017, my readership grew large enough to allow me to work as a full-time comic artist
And I am grateful to all of my wonderful (and attractive) fans.
How would you describe your typical day?
Excellent question! I’m a morning person, and by 8 or 9 a.m., I’m usually sitting in my office with a nice cup of something warm.카지노사이트
My mornings are filled with business management—answering emails, attending zoom meetings, answering emails, checking social media
Answering emails, talking to my mom, answering emails, and so on. When that’s done, I’ll be able to focus on my favorite part of the day: drawing!
Paid partnerships, collaborations, and commissions are usually the first things I work on.
When those are finished, the hairs on my neck begin to rise and I notice a crackling in the air. My fingers are full of ideas. It’s comic book time, baby.
I work on Artbymoga comics until I’m done. Sometimes it’s 2 p.m., and sometimes it’s midnight.
It depends on what “art zone” I’m in. Typically, I close up shop.
Where did the pen name Moga come from?
From The Jungle Book! My father took me to see The Jungle Book, a 1967 Disney film, when I was a few weeks old.
He started calling me “Mowgli,” which eventually evolved into “Moga.” It’s been my nickname my entire life, and when I decided to start posting comics, it was the perfect pen name.
- Who are your favorite readers?
- Probably the shirtless ones.
- How much do you enjoy Halloween on a scale of 1-10?
I’m going to have to go with a solid 11/10. It’s my favorite time of year, and I’m OBSESSED.
Is it necessary for Carson to approve comics about him? How about the puppies?
Carson’s opinion is always important to me, even if his meticulous eye occasionally picks out things like “you used the wrong form of your That said
The puppies have a very difficult life, full of walkies, zoomies, naps, and treats. As a result, they are far too busy to read through every comic.
Please tell us about your new book.
“Why are you like this?” it asks. and is a collection of my work that includes redrawn fan favorites as well as over 100 previously unseen comics.
While it is still in the works with the publisher, we hope to have it available early next year! More information will be available soon! 카지노 블로그
